Dr. V & 4th Grade Jam Session

Dr. V, RISD Superintendent, visits Reinhardt and jams with Mrs. Fluck and 4th graders on the recorder!

The students were excited to showcase their musical abilities as Dr. V joined them for a hands-on experience working on notes A and B. Dr. V picked up a recorder and played alongside the students, creating an inspiring moment of connection between the superintendent and the young musicians.

The session not only highlighted the importance of music education but also allowed Dr. V to see firsthand the dedication of both the teachers and students in Reinhardt's music program.

Spirit Night! See you there!
Annual BLUEbonnet Reading Challenge

More than 35 Reinhardt students joined in the fun of the annual Bluebonnet Reading Challenge! The challenge encourages students to read five or more books from a special list of exciting titles nominated for the Texas Bluebonnet Award.

Once the students finished reading their books, they got to celebrate at the BLUEbonnet Voting Party! At the party, everyone voted for their favorite book from the list, helping to choose which book would win the Bluebonnet Award.

To make the event even more fun, there were lots of blue-colored snacks to enjoy, like blue Takis, blue gummy sharks, blue Laffy Taffy, and blue corn chips! Even the decorations were in the BLUEbonnet spirit!

This challenge is a great way to get students excited about reading while also bringing everyone together to celebrate and discuss books.
